Description
Heavy Duty Roller Drive Chain
Heavy-duty roller drive chains utilize thicker side plates to enhance their fatigue resistance and load-bearing capacity. They are ideal for heavy equipment, skid steer loaders, and agricultural machinery. We offer a variety of heavy-duty chains, including double-row and single-row chains. Heavy-duty cotter pin chains are also available. The smallest chains can only withstand a few pounds of weight, while the largest chains can handle up to one thousand pounds per foot.

Types of Heavy-Duty Roller Chain
When it comes to heavy-duty roller chains, you have a few different options. You have ANSI 80, Super #80, Offset, Leaf, and more to choose from. Here’s a brief introduction to each type of these chains.
ANSI 80
The ANSI 80 heavy-duty roller chain has a pitch of 1 inch and is the seventh largest size in the ANSI B29.1 series of roller chains. It is suitable for a variety of applications, such as industrial production and agriculture. Its heavy-duty construction allows it to withstand heavy loads in various environments. PEER roller chains also conform to ANSI/ASME standards. PEER roller chains are compatible with and interchangeable with ANSI 80 chains.
The HZPT heavy-duty sprocket chain is suitable for applications with limited space and performs well at low speeds. Its pin size is large enough to accommodate larger sprockets.
Super #80
The SH Ultra-High Strength Series roller drive chain is one of the strongest ANSI 80 roller drive chains in the world. Its ultra-strength pins are made from a special high-strength alloy and undergo full heat treatment, increasing tensile strength and load capacity by up to 50%. The ultra-strength chain is soaked in hot oil for twice as long as standard chains, further enhancing its load capacity and service life. These heavy-duty chains are ideal for applications requiring low speed and long service life.
HZPT’s ultra-heavy-duty series roller drive chains are designed for lasting reliability, featuring fully heat-treated alloy pins and solid bushings for enhanced strength and durability. Wide waist chain plates and four-point riveted pins increase the chain’s load capacity and effectively resist shock loads. Whether you’re using oversized roller drive chains or low-speed conveyors, this heavy-duty roller drive chain can withstand the toughest conditions.
Offset chain
Heavy duty offset roller chain is the right solution for your heavy-duty applications. The offset links add half of a link to the chain. This type of roller chain is perfect for heavy-duty applications where the load is high and the sprockets are close to each other. You can find many types of offset links to suit your needs. The chain is made from stainless steel and is designed to withstand a high load.
This type of heavy-duty roller drive chain has been designed for traction and drive applications. It is commonly used on mining, grain processing, and steel mill equipment. It is constructed from medium carbon steel that has been processed through cold pressing and bending after annealing. It also goes through impact extrusion to create the pin hole. This process improves the inner surface smoothness of the sidebar and the pin, which helps to avoid metal fatigue.
Leaf chain
The BL Series heavy-duty leaf chains are crafted to meet the specifications of ASME B29.8 leaf chain standard. Unlike the BL Series, ANSI has discontinued the AL series. These leaf chains are intended for moderate to heavy lifting applications. They are available in several different lengths and pitches. The BL Series leaf chain has a diameter that is equal to the thickness of the next largest pitch ANSI roller drive chain.
The outer and inner leaf chain plates form a press or slip-fit with pins. Pins pass through the outer plate holes and are subject to tensile and shear forces. When the chain articulates, the pins slide within the inner plate hole. These two-part leaf chains provide high tensile strength and high wear resistance. The tensile strength of these leaf chains is much higher than the working load of a conventional roller chain.
Silent chain
If you’re looking for a heavy-duty, silent chain, look no further. These chains are made with multiple, closely spaced links, making them extremely flexible and quiet to run. Compared to other types of chains, silent chains are also stronger and able to carry more horsepower per square inch of chain width. Additionally, they have a flat back to prevent vibration and are perfect for use in applications where a minimum of noise is critical.
Standard heavy-duty roller chains feature thicker side plates to increase their strength and reduce the risk of fatigue. They’re often used for heavy equipment, agricultural machinery, and skid steers. While standard roller chains are more efficient for lighter-weight applications, heavy-duty chains are more durable and can withstand repetitive shock loads. These chains also feature enhanced plate configurations to provide tensile strength and resistance to fatigue failure.
Sprocket Drive Systems and Heavy Duty Sprocket Chain
When it comes to sprocket chain and sprocket drive systems, there are many different types and features to consider. The first thing to remember is that the sprockets on heavy-duty chains are not interchangeable with those on standard roller chains. The thicker side plates on heavy-duty chains prevent proper engagement with a standard double sprocket. Buying a specially manufactured sprocket for a heavy-duty roller drive chain is an option, however, and may require a longer manufacturing lead time. Ever-power is a professional sprocket manufacturer that you can rely on. We offer a wide range of sprocets too!
High-quality chains are stronger than standard chains and effectively reduce noise and vibration during operation. Triple-S chains are made from high-quality heat-treated steel and feature a patented tooth profile design that helps prevent chain vibration. This allows for smoother acceleration and more even power transfer to the rear wheel. It’s an excellent choice for users who frequently ride on rough terrain. They keep the chain in optimal condition even after years of use.
In addition to durability, Ever power also offers heavy-duty series chains that utilize solid rollers. Solid rollers are the main contact point between the chain and sprocket and are more durable than split rollers. These chains also feature solid roller bushings, which help prevent internal friction. They are suitable for medium to high-speed applications. You can choose from a variety of different chains to suit your application needs; we have a large selection of high-quality heavy-duty chains for various industrial applications.
