The SLR Series Self-Lubrication Roller Chain combines standard ANSI \/ ISO roller-chain geometry with a sintered-bushing self-lubrication system, eliminating the need for scheduled re-oiling throughout the chain’s service life. A vacuum-impregnated, oil-bearing sintered bushing releases a continuous micro-film of lubricant into the pin\u2013bushing interface under heat and pressure \u2014 the same zone where conventional chains wear fastest when lubrication is inadequate or missed.<\/p>\n

The sintered bushing extends slightly beyond the inner plate face, forming a physical labyrinth seal that restricts the entry of airborne dust, textile fibres, grain particles, and other abrasives into the bearing joint. Paired with a chemically plated, surface-tempered bearing pin, this sealed-joint architecture produces a chain that outperforms externally lubricated standard chains in dusty, dry, or lubrication-restricted environments. All SLR chains are dimensionally interchangeable with standard ANSI \/ ISO roller chains.<\/p>\n
