Chain Component Engineering

Pin — Core Load Bearer

Through-hardened alloy steel, processed to full core depth — not just the case. Carries the entire shear load across each joint. The through-hardening is the primary differentiator between SH and standard ANSI chains: fatigue life under shock loading is fundamentally extended.

Bushing — Articulation Interface

Carburised and case-hardened for maximum wear resistance at the pin–bushing interface. The bushing absorbs the majority of articulation stress each time the chain wraps and leaves a sprocket tooth — its wear life determines the chain’s overall service interval.

Roller — Sprocket Engagement

Hardened for shock resistance, collapse strength, and surface wear. The roller distributes impact force across the sprocket tooth face, protects the bushing from direct contact, and allows free rotation to minimise friction as each link seats and seats again thousands of times per hour.

Link Plate — Tensile Member

Stamped from high-tensile carbon steel and shot-peened at aperture edges to relieve residual stress and extend fatigue life. SH plates are thicker than ANSI-A series — this thickness increase, combined with the through-hardened pin, accounts for the 25–35% tensile strength gain.

Connecting Link & Offset Link Options

For even pitch-count шынжырлар. Spring-clip or cotter-pin retention. One included per 10 ft box as standard. Allows field installation without press tools.

One-Pitch Offset Link

Use only when an odd pitch count cannot be avoided. Reduces tensile capacity at that joint — avoid wherever possible by specifying an even number of pitches.

Two-Pitch Offset Link

Combines an inner link and offset link — stronger than the one-pitch variant. Preferred solution when an odd pitch count is unavoidable and joint strength must be preserved.
