Key Features
Vulcanized directly onto outer link plates. Oil-resistant, chemical-resistant, rated to ~100 °C. The non-marking surface protects finished wood, glass, and coated panels from scratches or impressions left by bare steel.
Plates, pins, bushings, and rollers are case-hardened individually — the same load specification as ISO 08B-1 simplex chain. The rubber pad attachment does not reduce the chain’s rated tensile strength of 18.0 kN.
The compressible rubber layer absorbs impact energy at the point of product contact, reducing noise levels on open conveyors compared to bare steel chain — a measurable benefit in occupied production areas.
Roller and pin dimensions are identical to ISO 08B-1. Standard BS/ISO 08B sprockets require no modification. Rubber pads clear standard sprocket teeth without interference on both the carrying and return runs.

About This Product
The 08B-G1 rubber top chain is a simplex roller chain conforming to ISO 606 / BS 228 standards. Unlike standard rullkedja, the rubberized contact surface is non-marking and slightly compressible, cushioning delicate workpieces against impact and vibration. The chain body uses heat-treated carbon-steel components — plates, pins, bushings, and rollers — identical to those in premium-grade 08B-1 simplex chain, so it retains full compatibility with standard 08B sprockets while adding the surface protection that bare steel cannot provide.
The G1 rubber compound is a high-grade synthetic elastomer engineered for abrasion resistance, resistance to oils and mild chemicals, and operating temperatures up to approximately 100 °C, making it a reliable choice for continuous-duty conveying in food processing, packaging, woodworking, glass handling, and ceramics production.
