Vulcanised elastomer roller chains are the correct solution wherever transported goods must
arrive unmarked. The rubber pad — nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), bonded directly to the
outer link plate under heat and pressure — provides a compliant, high-friction surface that
cushions fragile items and prevents sliding, while the underlying precision chain maintains
all the dimensional accuracy and load capacity of a standard roller chain.
Our programme covers pitches from ½″ (12.7 mm) to
1½″ (38.1 mm) in British B-series (ISO 606), American A-series (ANSI B29.1),
and curved-plate C-series variants, each available in simplex (G1) or duplex (G2) strand
configurations.

ELITE Series — Recommended for Delicate Goods
The ELITE profile is moulded from nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) at 80 Shore A
hardness — the optimum balance of abrasion resistance, cohesive friction, and long service life
for most conveyor environments.
Plates are shot-blasted and tapered for maximum fatigue strength. Rollers are seamless with
uniform wall thickness, reducing vibration and noise on high-speed lines. The high-contact-ratio
pad profile maximises grip across the full link width.

High Fatigue Option
C-Series — Curved-Plate, Impact & Fatigue Resistant
C-series chains feature curved side plates that distribute tensile stress more evenly,
significantly improving fatigue life under shock and cyclic loading. Specify C-series wherever
your conveyor sees frequent starts/stops, impact loads at the infeed, or incline service at
elevated speeds.

How to Select the Right Chain
Step 1 — Pitch
Match the rantai pitch to your existing driven sprocket, or use ISO 10823 power rating tables to derive pitch from shaft speed and transmitted power.
Step 2 — Strand
G1 simplex for standard loads. G2 duplex when tensile load exceeds 60% of G1 Qmin, or when a wider conveyor bed is needed for product stability.
Step 3 — Series
B-series for ISO / DIN sprockets. A-series for ANSI sprockets. C-series for shock/impact loads or high-cycle fatigue duty.
Step 4 — Compound
NBR 80A covers oils, fats, mild chemicals. Above 100 °C or with aromatic solvents — specify EPDM or FKM. Abrasive bulk goods — specify polyurethane (PU).
