Описание
The 16A-G1 Rubber Top Chain is a heavy-duty roller chain built to ISO 606 / ANSI B29.1 / DIN 8187 standards, with a 25.4 mm pitch and a vulcanised rubber pad bonded to the top face of every outer link. It is the standard conveying chain in wood-product processing, plywood manufacturing, glass fabrication, ceramic tile lines, and composite-board handling — any application where surface marking must be avoided and line noise is a concern.
The G1 designation means a solid, one-piece roller — not a bushed-and-roller assembly. The roller is machined from alloy steel, case-hardened, ground, and heat-tempered. Inner and outer plates are precision-punched from 45Mn or 42CrMo alloy steel, shot-peened to relieve surface stress, and heat-treated for fatigue resistance. The result is a chain that resists elongation under sustained load and maintains accurate pitch over long service intervals.
The rubber pad — available in Natural Rubber (NR) or Nitrile Rubber (NBR), Shore A 65–75 or 75–85 — is chemically bonded to the outer plate during vulcanisation, not mechanically clipped on. This bonding method prevents pad loss under vibration or shock and maintains contact surface integrity throughout the chain’s service life. NBR compound resists oil, fuel splash, and temperatures up to 100 °C; NR compound maximises grip and cushioning on dry, ambient-temperature lines.

16A-G1 vs 12B-G1 — Which Chain to Choose?
Both chains feature a G1 solid roller and bonded rubber top pad. The difference is pitch: the 16A-G1 uses 25.4 mm pitch for higher load capacity and larger sprockets, while the 12B-G1 uses 19.05 mm pitch for compact, lighter-load installations.

Mating Sprockets for 16A-G1
We supply ISO 606 / ANSI B29.1 sprockets machined to the 16A (25.4 mm pitch) tooth profile in carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and engineering polymer — 9T to 114T. Bore diameter, keyways, and set-screw flats are machined to your drawing. The rubber pad height (H = 20 mm) must be factored into the chain-to-guard clearance calculation; contact our engineering team for a clearance check.
